The warmer sea temperatures of the Summer months bring Blue Sharks in to the western approaches of the Bristol Channel. We regularly catch Blue Sharks,  over the 100lb mark, with the occasional Porbeagle Shark and Thresher Shark.

We take great care in order to minimise the stress to the shark and ensure they are returned in great condition for the future of our sport.  Many sharks are released at the boat side in the water but for the fish that are brought onboard for a photo with the angler, these are boated through the side door close to the water level. The fish are handled in a way to support the main body of the fish and reduce risk of damage out of the water. Fish are unhooked and released as soon as possible to ensure they are returned in the best condition possible. We operate a STRICT CATCH AND RELEASE POLICY.

Shark trips are normally 12 hours in duration and can leave from Minehead Harbour or Ilfracombe Harbour.
